Now for the fun!
On Saturday March 1st the WCC will be hosting a dinner theatre fundraiser. Pre-sale tickets at the Gorge store and Cortes Market are $10. $15 at the door. Food is not included in the ticket price, so if you don’t like Thai food just come for dessert and the show. Doors are at 6:30.
We will be screening the original Nosferatu accompanied by live Piano. A Thai menu will be available at extra cost. On the menu will be Pad Thai with local prawns ( prawns to be donated by Walcan <3) or tofu, Tom Kha soup with a side of rice, Thai red sweet tea as well as something sweet, regular teas, coffee or soda.
What are we Fundraiser for? The Whaletown Community Club depends on grants and donations to keep the lights on, replace what’s broken and support events/ programming. In order to keep events and programming accessible to the majority, we need to make-up for what grants don’t cover.
By joining us at this event you are not only continuing to build ties with your neighbours, but also contributing to keep costs down for our future events and classes.
